On the east side of The Big Island of Hawaii you will find our fifteen acre Macadamia Nut farm, deep in the District of Puna, on the eastern slope of Kilauea. Close by are three craters which are inaccessible to the public. One of those special and most beautiful pieces of land that only nature creates. This rainforest is the home of the Hawaiian wild pigs with which we happily share our Macadamias.
Monika's Mac Nuts is made up of real people. Here are a few of them: just below is Monika, our Owner and Founder, with her dogs, Nani and Oli. Nani and Oli are in charge of Pohoiki Farm Security... they alert us when strangers approach, and chase the wild pigs away from the orchard. Monika has been living in Hawaii since 1997 and enjoys sharing the knowledge of the Macadamia Nut business with her visitors and customers. So, be sure to stop by for a visit the next time you come to the Big Island. She would love to meet you... please give her a call.
